Buck vs Minonzio: The Rematch

Wayne Buck sports a (4-1-0) pro record and made his name originally on the British Boxing and powerlifting circuits before switching to MMA in 2006. He quickly racked-up wins on Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House 1, 2 and 5 and also holds a win over Svajunas Siaucila by TKO at King of the Ring. Although he has been dogged by injury Buck is a popular local figure and has worked hard on his ground game to compliment his well rounded striking ability over recently months.

However the Italian Muay Thai specialist Matteo “The Brutal” Minonzio was not fazed by Buck's fanatical hometown support when they met last month. The big Italian will aim to upset the home town faithful once again when these two men square off on September 27th in Nottingham, England.

Whilst Buck will be looking for redemption when these two men face off on this stacked cosmopolitan event. When asked for his thoughts, Buck said “I was disappointed about the way it got stopped as I felt the cut was caused by a headbutt”. Buck continued on by saying “I dominated the fight and I plan to finish off what I started on July 12th and KO him. My best is yet to come”.
